Vientiane province looking to branded oranges for sweet success
VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) – Long known among citrus lovers for their delicious taste, Kasy and Vangvieng districts in Vientiane province plan to cash in on their popular organic oranges by developing a special brand to boost revenue for local growers.
The plan by provincial authorities aims to add value to the oranges which in turn will assist farmers as well as create more variety for consumers.
